If you're interested in making your organization better prepared for disaster and emergency events, join us this Tuesday, October 11 to hear from Red Cross staff and a Ready Rating Member about this program and to learn how businesses, organizations and schools in your area can take the steps to become members and be better prepared to respond to and successfully withstand a disaster and other emergencies. 

The American Red Cross Ready Rating (TM) program is a free, self-paced program designed to help businesses, organizations and schools become better prepared for emergencies. Members complete a 123-point self assessment of their level of preparedness, gain access to tips and best practices, and commit to improving their score each year to maintain membership.

This webinar is free to the public. The webinar recording lasts approximately 40 minutes. The live webinar offered Closed Captioning and a transcript of the webinar has been posted with the recorded version of the webinar.

How to view our webinars

The Community Preparedness Webinar Series is conducted via DHS's HSIN Connect system. You do not need to register in advance, nor do you need a HSIN account in order to view our webinars. Audio for this webinar will be broadcast within HSIN Connect; there will not be a concurrent, phone-based teleconference. Questions and answers will be moderated via text-based chat inside the webinar.
