Overview

2011 and early 2012 have been action-packed for the CERT. This webinar will provide detailed descriptions of all the new training tools available to States and local CERT programs across the nation, including:

  • G428: CERT Train-the-Trainer Course
  • G427: CERT Program Manager Course
  • CERT Basic Training in Spanish
  • CERT Basic Training in Braille
  • CERT Basic Training in Screen Reader Version

State and local CERT program coordinators/managers, CERT sponsoring organizations, and CERT volunteers are encouraged to view this webinar.

This webinar is free and open to the public. The webinar presentation lasts approximately 40 minutes plus a question and answer period. The live webinar is offered in Closed Captioning and a transcript of the webinar will be been posted with the recorded version of the webinar.

The Community Preparedness Webinar Series is conducted via DHS's HSIN Connect system. You are required to register in advance but you do not need a HSIN account. Audio for this webinar will be broadcast within HSIN Connect; there will not be a concurrent, phone-based teleconference. Questions and answers will be moderated via text-based chat inside the webinar.
